Here’s some delightful news. The “Limited Offer” show of collages by Nathan Gluck, studio assistant to Andy Warhol in the 1950s and 60s during the commercial design era, will be exhibited at The Athenaeum in La Jolla/San Diego September 20-November 8. I was saddened to learn of the passing of Nathan Gluck, an exceptional collage artist and long-time friend…I met Nathan through my brother, Howard Low, in the 1950s…when my brother passed away in 1990, we became good friends…Nathan and Howard were students when Howard was at Cooper Union and Nathan at Pratt in the 1940s…I shall always remember Nathan for his positive outlook and wonderful sense of humour…He was an inspiration to all who came into contact with him…Harrison Liu
