From filmmaker extraordinaire Jeff Durkin of Breadtruck Films comes a rad mini-documentary of the Sanctuary143 Reinventing the Wheel show in Barrio Logan. This guy has developed a great eye and with his new camera dolly setup, he is a film-force to be reckoned with.

The painting and sweeping of the renovated warehouse that we call The Logan continues, and our latest update is the arrival of the crates!
The crates were custom built to transport high end art to local museums, and it’s great that we can find a new life for them as staging for the upcoming art event. They are huge which makes them a nice scale for the spacious gallery, and they are well built and silky smooth. A bike atop each one of them will look very regal, up-lit and ready for your viewing pleasure on 9/27.

A big thank you to ArtWorks for their generous help with installation for Reinventing the Wheel: San Diego!

After a generous donation from our friends down at Artist & Craftsman Supply in San Diego, Acamonchi was locked and loaded with 8 cans of Montana Gold and the blank canvas of a reclaimed pedicab waiting for its moment to become art for the upcoming Reinventing the Wheel show.

That moment has officially begun, as Acamonchi laid down the first few psychedelic layers of paint today.

Enjoy, fellow Sanctuarians!
